Netjert:Amunet
Amunet (also spelled
Amaunet) is the female aspect of Netjer Amun. She is considered to
be a part of the Ogdoad (The Eight Primordial Netjeru created by Amun in
the Beginning). She represents hidden power or invisibility
along with Amun. She is represented as a woman with the head of a
snake. Amunet was a fertility goddess whose role was taken over largely
by Mwt. Sometimes she is Identified with Netjert:
Neith and she was identified by the red crown of the Delta.
